]]>The origins of this firm start back in 1921, when the maternal grandfather of Massimo and Anna Latorraca, who are the present owners of the company La Torre, founded his first company. Since then the story of the family has been strongly connected and interwoven with that of the business. In 1960 MR. Giuseppe Latorraca, father of Massimo and Anna, established his own company and in the early seventies the two activities were integrated to become an individual company under the name of ‘La Torre’.
Today, La Torre is a small but dynamic company, whose turnover has triplicate in the last 6 years and exporting 92% of its production to 40 countries in the 5 continents. It is note worthy that La Torre is the first italian manufacturer of taps certificated according to the norms uni en iso 9001 and 14001, a demonstration of the special concern of this company for the preservation of the environment. “We have always given our attention to the issues connected with the environment – explains Massimo Latorraca – and it is our policy not to overlook this aspect of the production process while we do the utmost to reach always higher quality standards from the ‘project phase’ through the working steps up to the final goal of the customer satisfaction”. After university, both Massimo and Anna enter the company management under the careful supervision of their father who transmits them his knowledge and experience.
The market response has always been positive and rewarding for the company policy of this family firm, as can be seen in the gradual and costant increase of size and turnover.

Rimfree® toilets achieve professional performance levels. With no rim they look cleaner and are easy to clean and maintain witch gives users confidence in the levels of hygiene.
Typically the technology used in water closet has traditionally depended on there being a lot of outlets for the flush water, all hidden under a rim which guided the flow. the design of Pozzi-Ginori Rimfree® toilets is the result of years of development, designing both a bowl and a jet system which do away completely with the need for a rim.
Water cascades into the toilet pan from a slot at the back of the bowl. holes at either end of the slot act as jets, powering water right around the bowl and rising it clean quietly and effectively. smart design ensures that water enters the bowl at precisely the right angle to maintain its speed and force. the shape and size of the toilet sump means that the pressure of the water pushes the content away quickly and smoothly.
]]>Zucchetti basic values have always been innovation, design, and quality: the essential milestones that have guiding the firm throughout decades. After an early ‘experimental’ phase manufacturing industrial valves and fittings, in 1950 the factory was converted to produce fully chromed taps, under the leading personality of Alfredo’s son, Mario, enlightened entrepreneur who leads the company for nearly fifty years.
